OBJECTIVES & IDEOLOGIES

  • To be the best adventure trip provider in the Himalayan Region of Uttarakhand, India by adopting ecologically sensitive approach to tourism

  • Actively engage in bringing-up the skill-sets of local children and youth – particularly in the skiing and mountaineering activities (which is a key opportunity in this region)

  • Coach and train young athletes in skiing and snowboarding to help them achieve their potential and prepare them to participate in competitive events at national and international levels

  • Create a positive impact in the society I live by spreading awareness about environmental conservation, awareness about natural disasters, educate locals on preservation of natural resources, training locals on rescue operations, etc.

PIONEERIING INITIATIVES FOR AULI REGION

  • Introduced Sky Running sport for the first time and successfully conducted the first ever event for Sky Running in Joshimath-Auli in April 2018

  • Introduced Snow Shoeing sport for the first time in Auli region in February 2020. India’s Union Sports Minister (Mr Kiran Rijiju) experienced and enjoyed the inaugural sessions of the same

  • Successfully Hosted first ever High Altitude MTB Rally from Mana Pass (altitude 5632 mtr) to Badrinath (altitude 3,300 mtr) in October 2022 (under the banner of Ski Mountaineering Association of Uttarakhand)

  • National Coach for India’s Junior and Sub-junior skiing team – position conferred by Winter Games Federation of India (WGFI)

  • Coach for India’s team of senior athletes participating in FIS Alpine Championship, Dubai held at Ski Dubai in November 2022 (Indian team won historic 8 medals – 4 silver & 4 bronze – and bagged 2nd position in overall medal tally)

  • Coach of Uttarakhand State Team in 1st & 2nd Khelo India Winter Games in J&K in February 2020 and February 2021

  • Represented and participated in Second World Ski Mountaineering Masters in Qinghai Province China in May 2019 (Ski Running and Sky Mountaineering event as a part of Beijing Winter Olympics 1000 day countdown carnival activities)

  • Coach for India’s team of senior athletes participating in Asian Winter Games in Sapporo, Japan in February 2017
